Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Keyavi Data Corp.'s products, services, and website (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Keyavi reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates this policy.
This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and should be read in conjunction with those documents.
Permitted Use
Our Services are designed to help organizations protect and govern sensitive data through policy-driven encryption, access controls, and audit capabilities. You may use our Services for lawful business purposes consistent with the intended functionality of our products.
Prohibited Uses
You agree that you will not use our Services — or allow others to use our Services through your account — for any of the following purposes:
Illegal Activities
- ✕Violation of Laws: Using the Services in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- ✕Facilitating Criminal Activity: Using the Services to facilitate, promote, or enable any criminal activity, including fraud, money laundering, extortion, or identity theft.
- ✕Export Control Violations: Using the Services in violation of U.S. export control laws or regulations, or the laws of any other applicable jurisdiction.
- ✕Sanctions Violations: Using the Services if you are subject to sanctions administered by any government authority, including OFAC, the EU, or the UN.
Harmful or Abusive Content
- ✕Child Exploitation Material: Storing, transmitting, or distributing any content that sexually exploits or harms minors.
- ✕Harassment and Abuse: Using the Services to harass, stalk, threaten, or abuse any individual or group.
- ✕Hate Speech: Using the Services to create, distribute, or promote content that is hateful, discriminatory, or incites violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
- ✕Defamation: Using the Services to transmit or distribute false statements of fact that damage the reputation of any individual, company, or organization.
Security and Technical Violations
- ✕Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other users' accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to the Services.
- ✕Malware and Harmful Code: Using the Services to upload, store, transmit, or distribute any virus, malware, ransomware, spyware, adware, or other malicious code designed to damage or disrupt systems.
- ✕Denial of Service: Engaging in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the integrity, performance, or availability of the Services or the systems used to deliver them.
- ✕Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of any component of the Services.
- ✕Circumventing Security Controls: Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security features, access controls, or authentication mechanisms of the Services.
- ✕Excessive System Load: Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to place excessive load on the Services in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
Intellectual Property
- ✕Copyright Infringement: Using the Services to store, transmit, or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
- ✕Trade Secret Misappropriation: Using the Services to misappropriate or improperly disclose the trade secrets of any third party.
- ✕Unauthorized Resale: Reselling, licensing, or sublicensing the Services to third parties without prior written authorization from Keyavi Data Corp.
Privacy Violations
- ✕Unauthorized Data Collection: Using the Services to collect personal information about individuals without their knowledge or appropriate legal basis.
- ✕Surveillance: Using the Services to conduct unauthorized surveillance, tracking, or monitoring of individuals.
- ✕Spam: Using the Services to transmit unsolicited commercial communications or bulk messages to individuals who have not consented to receive them.
Misrepresentation
- ✕False Identity: Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely representing your affiliation with a person or entity.
- ✕Misleading Information: Using the Services to spread misinformation, disinformation, or other deliberately deceptive content.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including activities by your authorized users. You must:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Promptly notify Keyavi of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensure that your authorized users are aware of and comply with this AUP
- Maintain appropriate security controls within your own environment
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately at support@keyavidata.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Enforcement
Keyavi Data Corp. reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Investigate any suspected violation of this AUP
- Suspend or terminate access to the Services for any user found to be in violation
- Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP
- Report violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations of suspected unlawful activity
Failure by Keyavi to enforce any provision of this AUP in any instance shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to enforce the same or any other provision in the future.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Continued use of our Services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
